POKOTABI / Oh! Toro Kitchen
魚屋のマグロ食堂 オートロキッチン 田町店
Near Tamachi Station, Oh! Toro Kitchen serves an all-tuna menu spanning bone-scraped nakaochi, cut platters, tuna tail steaks, and lunchtime sashimi bowls.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Moving beyond plain sashimi to grilled preparations, fried cutlets, and Western-style plates, Oh! Toro Kitchen explores tuna from multiple angles. For an evening visit, signatures like nakaochi—scraped directly from the bone right at the table using clam shells—and the Oh! Toro Kitchen Moriawase, designed to contrast texture and fat levels across different cuts, make natural starting points. Substantial hot dishes round out the spread, including a hearty tuna tail steak, miso-marinated tuna cheek, and skewered tsukune-style tuna patties.
At lunch, rice bowls offer a quick, satisfying midday meal. Options adapt to different cravings, from the classic half-and-half bowl pairing lean akami with minced negitoro to sesame-marinated tuna bowls slick with rich sauce or a yukhoe-style bowl finished with raw egg yolk and creamy avocado.
Counter seating and tables lend the dining room a relaxed, casual air that works equally well for solo diners or group gatherings. With beer, wine, and sake available, alongside all-you-can-drink add-ons for course menus, the setting suits a lively gathering over drinks and shared fish plates.
